Also in 98 the intimate funky room in pacha was added to his weekly schedule as well as the madness and mayhem of probably the best beach bar in the world Bora Bora. It was from here, with a residency spanning five summers , that he worked the crowd with pace and finesse. Regularly playing eight hour sets four times a week, encompassing all spectrums of dance music, polishing his art and mixing skills. Earning himself recognition from the island regulars and enough international promoters to win a string of worldwide gigs over the years . In 99 he moved up the Manumission ladder to become resident in the coco loco room. Warming up things nicely with a balearic vibe. Taking on more slots at Bora Bora and being the night time resident for bar Magnolia. 2000 Justin could be found at all his usual hangouts as well as earning himself an extra feather in his cap by adding a slot at the famous Space to his rota. Over the next three years a love for the big room blossomed leading him to develop a tougher sound encompassing tech breakbeat. 2002 Even with his full schedule he still found time to write some music of his own.Teaming up with musician Dan Williams they formed rude boy rock outfit Twistedhip writing and recording material at jade jaggers private recording studio can rocas. 2003 saw this creation take to the stage in Manumissions newly created live room the Music box. Performing alongside acts like the Rapture, lcd soundsystem and fat truckers. This also was the year he hooked up with Ibizas coolest hang out the underground to spin every Friday with Don juanito. 2004 Twistedhip recruited some more members including new kid on the block Andy taylor junior to put on two more sterling live performances in the MusicBox. Justin continued to spin at privilege and space and of course the underground. 2005 Was the year justin switched over to digital and now his sets are delivered with the aid of his Mac using Traktor 3 or Ableton live.With these new tools he jumped at the chance to regularly play at Ibizas best new night as voted for by the dj awards Ibiza rocks. Which led to him doing an hourly radio show on global fm every friday night. Moving to Saturdays at the Underground. 2006 Started with an amazing new years eve party at the underground. Then a few months in the studio, hooking up with Sebi spanks, to write some material under the banner of the Hot notes and record a legendary mix session Duke box in the sky. Justin also teamed up with old stable mate Colin Peters to form Contra rebel djs going on to play at Ibiza rocks and Manumission they also hosted their own show on newly opened Sonica fm. Not forgetting his solo career returning to his regular friday night sessions at the underground which was voted by the dj awards as Ibizas best bar . 2007 Another partnership has been formed with other Ibiza stalwart Graham sahara penning some material under the monika beatpushers and releasing material on seamless records. He will continue to call Ibizas best kept secret the Underground his home. Spinning tuesdays and fridays with don juanito and guests . 2008 Onwards and Upwards . Celebrating Ten years on the island ! Kicking of the year by releasing an album on itunes Called The twisted hip project which is a trip through reggae rock and electronica. Also starting up Ibiza Underground Recordings to release the first compilation for the club. He is currently busy writing a new ep for release on the same label in June.
