Dial Records is focusing on electronic and techno music in particular. It was founded 1999 in Hamburg, Germany by Lawrence and Carsten Jost. The released 12inches and albums are by artists such as Lawrence, Carsten Jost, Pantha du Prince, Efdemin, Pawel, Nike Bordom, Pigon and others.

In 2008 the artist albums from Efdemin and Pantha du Prince were masterful pieces championing the label's distinct sound of melodic minimal and seductive house. Label founder and owner Peter Kersten releases tracks under both his Sten and Lawrence pseudonyms.
