Elevado Records focuses on experimental techno and minimal house. The label was founded in 2009 by a small crew involved with electronic music production. It was around 2003 when Vitor Anselmo, Tim Davila and Levy Novais got seriously involved with music production. Each one of them where forging their own path in electronic music world.
In 2006, Tim Davila founded his own label - Brazil Underground Studios - and released artists as Dias Mallon (BR), Nostalgic Dance Orchestra (BR), Merlyn Martin (USA), Thee-O (USA) and Alex Dias(BR). From 2006 to 2008, Vitor Anselmo created funk and deep house grooves as Nostalgic Dance Orchestra - Appearing in about 12 albums in labels as Shak Digital, Next Dimension Music and Queep Organic House.
From 2003 to 2007 Levy Novais has created all kinds of beats, ranging from techno to broken beats. In 2008 Levy and Vitor Anselmo started to explore new tendencies of dub-techno together. They've created Atos Locos and made about 12 tracks composed for a live act performance. In the same year a remix for Next Dimension Music was released.
In the end of 2008 Levy, Vitor and Tim where deeply involved with electronic club music and they've decided to start their own record label. They've asked Caique - a graphic designer, DJ and music producer - to join the crew.
Nowadays Elevado Records has a solid casting of artists and is supported by many DJs, producers and electronic music enthusiasts.
Since 2009 Elevado Records is distributed by Symphonic Distribution.
