The self styled "Grandson of Detroit" Alex o Smith aka as Omar S (FXHE). He is without doubt one of the most cutting edge, avante Guarde artists in House and Techno today. As with many Detroit artists he is extremely loyal to his hometown only releasing other Detroit artists and not releasing his music on any other label.

With a long list of releases and 3 albums he has carved out a reputation as an uncompromising individual who stays true to his roots. It was indeed none other than Theo Parish who first recognised his talent and the two have since gone on to work together. His music as is his djing can range from stark, raw Techno to more warm, lush hypnotic grooves.
