The idea for FREIHEIT Records was born during the celebration of Gay Pride in BERLIN the summer of 2006. This word FREIHEIT which means liberty in German perfectly embodies the spirit of that weekend. The concepts of liberty, freedom of expression, and life without shame that were so alive in that moment have always been a part of electronic music. FREIHEIT Records has been created to explore this liberty and to voice the free spirit that is base of all electronic music. Whether their base is house, minimal, or techno FREIHEIT is continuously in search of artists who create fresh sounds that feed and energize this movement and our passion.

BIO: At home on the French Riviera, B-cult is a reflexion of the Cote d’Azur- cosmopolitan yet personal, carefree yet deep. His professional route began during the summer of love in 1988. Moving from the Rivera’s capital, Nice to London he became the resident of the Player, a member’s bar in the heart of Soho. En passant par Paris, Nantes, and Martinique in the West Indies, he is now found in Osaka, Berlin, and numerous cities throughout France. His musical influences demonstrate the same eclecticism and voyager’s spirit. Travelling from notes of acid house to the American rhythms and dance floor genius collected from the Detroit school and back again to the new wave sounds that originally inspired his journey, his music spans the continents. At ease next to Beroshima, Ivan Smagghe, Damian Lazarius , Jennifer Cardini or Chloé, he is today the resident of the most famous and frequented house Gay Club of the French Riviera-Le Klub. During his residency, Le Klub has welcomed the biggest names of the international DJ circuit such as Josh Wink, Derrick May, Jeff Mills....just to name a few.
