The Supermen Lovers : this is live music for the dancefloors. Please forget Starlight. We had fun with it, you had fun with it, two million people had fun with it. It was so fun that it kinda hid the rest of his years-spanning musical career: a career which has the sound of the stuff young people finally call "nu-disco" today.
The real fun starts now, discovering the ace melange of passionate and highly-trained musicianship and modern production skills that The Supermen Lovers has been creating for years now.
This is about a real, angry live show from an artist who has just released his best album, Between The Ages, with a list of featuring sounding like a true who's who in disco/funk music history: former Chic singer Norma Jean Wright and Rick Bailey from Delegation. It's about a real duo show with analog machines, vocoders, 6- strings guitars, Rhodes pianos.
A show where '70s lead synth sounds are laid upon a huge beat and a jazzy, groovy swinging guitar commands you to lose yourself "between the ages".
The latest relase, Fantasma Disco ep features remixes from the likes of Jupiter (Kitsuné), A.N.D.Y. (Mustang), Veitengruber (Brise) and Le Loup (Hold Youth)
It's time to discover what's the real Supermen Lovers in 2012.
Herr Styler is a the opposite of predictable: it sounds like David Lynch hanging out with Talking Heads, maybe going clubbing at La Fabric, or like the power-duo Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel never formed. (Thank God.)

Or like Kitano Takeshi featuring in a Hayao Miyazaki animation movie.

What kind of music do they do, then? We don’t know. There are synths, basses, kick drums, snare drums, steel drums, guitars, wolves, saxophones, pencils and even almonds.
Their first remix was for Amari, released on vinyl on japanese label Every Conversation Records, then for Golden Bug on Gomma Rec, and for The Supermen Lovers, overwhelmed with more-than-positive feedbacks (“Awesome! This is the next level…” said The Magician in a sober state).
Their first ep, Double Sided Paper, is, in their words, a record about Ferdinand de Saussure and the ages of human beings.
And it sounds exactly like this description.

They are working on their next release, while doing remixes for Shindu, out on Kitsuné and a special track for Aeroplane last compilation In Flight Entertainment, Zero Ghosts out the door.
