The whole idea about founding Macro was to create sort of a boutique label, with an extreme focus on artistic quality: showcasing highly individual musical expression in any direction as long as it feels right rather than being label no.3192 going for the minimal, neo-deep or whatever pigeonhole. Macro hosts very few releases a year, carefully designed and packaged, opting for uniqueness rather than uniformity, tools or generic models of dance music. Truly a statement against all the hastily produced laptop boredom that molests clubbers and listeners these days.
