Melisma Records started in Chile in January, 2009. It came out of a joint idea of Dani Casarano and Felipe Valenzuela. Nowadays, they both are renowned producers in the world electronic scene. Felipe Valenzuela was born in Viña del Mar, Chile and Dani Casarano was born in Laussane, Switzerland. They make the perfect match of the fancy Latin and the Old Continent’s classics. Together they’ve come up with a deep avant-garde sound, which has positioned them in charts of artists as important as Luciano and Ricardo Villalobos, just to mention some. Through the time we have shared productions and years of work. After 10 years djing and producing music for record labels like Cadenza, Connaisseur, Fumakilla, Metroline, Andes music, among others, we have decided to undertake a new path and create our own record label. Having a record label is leaving a mark and our sound is worth its own. Through the years, our artists and friends circle has grown and we have been able to admire and appreciate the talent of those around us and the new original ideas that give today a new sense to dancing music. Our sound is tech house and its derivatives oriented. Our aim is to give our releases shape, life and originality. Artists closely working with us are , Felipe Venegas, Leon, Lee Van dowski , UES, Alexkid, Negru, Leix & Ronro among others.
