Since its inception in 1991, Nervous has been the source of numerous world-wide dance hits including Don’t Laugh by Josh Wink, Get Up Everybody by Byron Stingily, Nightlife by Kim English, and The Nervous Track by Nuyorican Soul. Nervous has always been known for discovering new talent, and was the first American label to release tracks by Armand Van Helden, Paul Van Dyk and Joe T. Vannelli.

Nervous is also home to a prized hip hop catalogue including classic tracks from Black Moon, Smif-n-Wessun, Funkmaster Flex, EPMD, Mad Lion, KRS-One, Kenny Dope and Mark the 45 King, as well as the famed Sam Records disco catalogue.  

In the past year Nervous has released critically acclaimed albums by Oscar G, Funkagenda, DJ Behrouz, Starkillers and Austin Leeds, Ralph Falcon, Tom Stephan, Mark Brown, Mickey Slim and DJ Theo. In 2007 Nervous had the number one club track in America according to Billboard Magazine with I Need Someone by Ralph Falcon, For 2008 Nervous has the number 2 most played record at dance radio in the USA, with I Can’t Help Myself by Bellatrax featuring Sophia May.
