Ringleader Biography:
Ringleader Interplanetary Productions started as a promotional night in Oxford in 2004 but after a promising start and with interest hard dance ever decreasing, RIP Recordings was started to showcase the production talent of label manager John Ridout and co-producer Ross Self.

Success with BLACKRIP vinyl series as well as with digital sales was short lived as the industry turned almost completely digital and a whole new breed of labels erupted. No F*ckin Ice Cream a collaboration between Ben Kaye, John Ridout & Ross Self was the most successful release by far.

Due to a change in direction for production duo John Ridout & Ross Self, the label was completely rebranded for a new and much more up-to-date sound to bring it into 2009. First releases were received well and Carl Nichoson's Broader remix of When The Demons Come was an outstanding result for the label.

Release of Sunburst 2009 CD Album by John Ridout, Ross Self and two more solo efforts from John (F*ck the Prom Queen, Fiesta) meant we were getting the support of Andy Farley, Carl Nicholson and Adrenaline Department as well as some radio play from Nikki Elise from KISS for album track, Never Awake Trance Mix Ft Lucy Clarke.
