Founded in 2011 by Stephen Hogg & Vincent Furlong Sleepless Nights Recordings is a label that aims to provide quality melodic house to the masses. Techno and monotony has now become a staple in the underground dance music scene in Dublin (and the world for that matter).
Our Label will focus on the de-regulation of noise orientated dance music and robotic monotony, hopefully restoring a sense of humanity and emotion to dancefloors across the globe rather than the fist punching, gurn worthy, sweat till you die and listen till tinnitus is the only sound you hear Music, although we have alot of respect for this music and it’s producers, a groove, a fat kick and some robotic percussives and ambience is not enough to trigger an emotional response and create some happy musical memories in our opinion. We are cyborg friendly though so we will take on board some tech house/ techno as long as it’s got an organic heart. If it’s just a tin can, a motherboard and a processor you might want to send your music to labels that nurture and facilitate your style.

Quite simply put, We are focusing on Deep/Melodic/Progressive house for the moment with some exceptions to tech house and techno, which means that there needs to be enough melody and music to cut through the noise in order for us to consider signing up. We are also looking at branching out into progressive/deep breaks in the future so watch this space.
