The Stranjjur imprint is the brainchild of NYC producer and DJ, Kev Obrien; who has been organizing events and DJing under the Stranjjur guise over the past few years; introducing some of house and techno's newest shining stars to the big apple.

Since 2009, up and coming stalwarts such as Milton Jackson, MANIK, Carlo Lio, Alex Niggemann, Kruse & Nuernberg, Till von Sein and many others have all made their big debuts in New York under the Stranjjur NYC banner; the event series that focuses it's mission statement on introducing 'stranjjurs' (pronounced Strangers)' to the City that Never Sleeps.

Fast forward to 2011, and the next logical step for Kev and Stranjjur as a whole, was to use the same A&R principals and philosophy that made the events a success, toward creating an even more exciting and meaningful platform aimed at helping up and coming artists get their message to the world. Hence, in summer 2011, the Stranjjur Imprint will be born, ran in unison by Kev and fellow NYC DJ/Producer Andy Inelli, AKA Ab Logic.

Artists already slated to appear on the first handful of releases include Pezzner, M A N I K, Kris Wadsworth, Lula Circus, Cosmic Cowboys, El_Txef_A, and more.
