The Wolf + Lamb duo Voices of Black caught us by surprise with the new single “Her Flower”, forcing us to go back and list to more of the VOB back catalog. What we uncovered was deep, funky music with classic roots and all the right modern flourishes that don’t seem overly hipster and contrived. Based in California, John Tejada has been producing electronic music since the mid 90s outputting on labels such as Palette Recordings and Poker Flat and playing festivals such as Movement, Sonar, Dance Valley, Sync Festival and Mutek in Mexico.
