TALE OF US – ALL NIGHT LONG
WITH VISUALS FROM PFADFINDEREI
Introducing Art of the Muse, a new series of warehouse parties from the team behind Krush, which promise to explore the electronic music spectrum through carefully curated, high quality events.
To celebrate the grand launch this November, Art of the Muse are delighted to announce a London exclusive with Tale of Us – all night long, with visuals from Berlin’s finest, Pfadfinderei.
Tale of Us
It takes a certain type of artist to be able to hold their own all night long. Not everyone is able to deftly weave their way through eight hours behind the decks, but if anyone is capable it’s Tale of Us, aka Berlin-based production duo Matteo Milleri and Cormine Conte.
Gaining widespread attention for their releases on Visionquest and excellent remixes – their remix of Thugfucker’s Disco Gnome was hailed by Mixmag as one of the best records of 2010 – the powerhouse duo have enjoyed a stratospheric rise to fame over the last three years, gaining recognition for their unique brand of pop-laced, disco-tinged melodic house.
With a widely praised mix for the acclaimed Renaissance series under their belt, a top 10 place in Resident Advisor’s coveted Top 100 DJ Poll last year, a thriving imprint Life and Death, and a highly anticipated debut album in the pipeline, it’s certain that things are only going to get bigger and better for Tale of Us.
This not-to-be-missed London exclusive all night long show at Oval Space in Bethnal Green is undoubtedly going to be one of the highlights of London clubbing 2013.
Pfadfinderei is an internationally renowned design collective who are responsible for the visuals and music videos for artists including Moderat, Paul Kalkbrenner, Ellen Allien and most recently Cocoon Ibiza this summer. For over a decade, Pfadfinderei have been creating abstract visuals with an emotional impact since the VJ scene emerged from the Berlin scene of the early 2000s.
Oval Space is a multi-purpose venue with 6000 square feet of unobstructed statement space in a unique London setting. Our location adjacent to the iconic Bethnal Green gasholders, along with the volume of space we offer, is what distinguishes us from other venues.
Oval Space is used for all kinds of events from corporate functions, product launches, fashion shows, through to small and large-scale stills, TV and film shoots.
Our clients include companies as diverse as ASOS, Ben Sherman, Black Atlantic Bars, Mclaren, You Magazine. To date we have also hosted pop-up dining clubs, film screenings and all types of private parties.

With a location not far from Liverpool Street and an experienced on-site management team to help with all aspects of your event, Oval Space ticks all the boxes for corporate functions. Working closely with a preferred list of suppliers, we can furnish all your production needs from AV lighting and draping through to Michelin-level catering, bar management and security.
Our ground floor Shutter Space hosts regular art exhibitions and acts as a reception area for large scale events. We also have two great outside terrace areas that provide the perfect place for barbecues/cocktails whilst watching the sun go down over the gas works. The West Terrace is covered and heated through the year.
Oval Space is not a conventional photographic or film studio but very much suits film, TV and editorial shoots and set builds. With a total of 28 skylights and panoramic windows covering the whole South wall, the main space benefits from considerable natural daylight; and we can also blackout on request.
For those needing to partition the space we can provide draping and or zone certain areas off allowing, for example, different departments from the same team can work alongside each other. As always, our white brick and natural brick walls provide a popular backdrop for all sorts of shoots, the 7m pitched ceiling can accommodate a small jib and our mezzanine area is great for overhead shots. We also have a 22m trussing in place, which can be used or removed.
