What a year it has already been for Rhythmatic. Celebrating their 5th Anniversary with gigs and showcases all over Europe, Kosovo, Stuttgart, Off Sonar, Monaco, St Tropez, Morocco, Athens, Mykonos, Thessaloniki, Paris and Amsterdam plus many more places and with some already great line ups in London.

Rhythmatic will be returning on the 29th June with another awe-inspiring line up. Bringing together for a first time in London two acts who we have been admirers of for some time - “Roman Flugel & Bruno Pronsato Live”. We are very happy to have them together.

Roman Flügel has been a musical chameleon on the scene since the early 1990’s, celebrated as one of Germanys most talented electronic artists. Co-founder of the Klang/Playhouse labels, his collaboration with Jorn Elling Wuttke has meant producing music for Techno giant Sven Vath and remixing for the likes of Daft Punk, The Human League and Primal Scream to name but a few. Taking us on a journey through 20 years of rave, quirky techno and electronica, we can’t wait to see what he unleashes for us.

Bruno Pronsato is known as one of techno’s most intriguing artists, musically renowned for creating ‘sexy, romantic techno’. His beautiful sound and live performances have earned him recognition from numerous labels including Philpot and Musique Risquée. Setting up his own label ‘Thesongsays’, Bruno has released spectacular tracks such as ‘The Make Up The Break Up’. He performs live for Rhythmatic and will be romancing us with his imaginative and sultry sounds.

A new festival is to be launched in the Autonomous region of Madrid. LA SIERRA ELECTRÓNICA. An annual event of the most advanced electronic music unique to the Region of Madrid. It’s a backing for the vanguard through the latest musical trends in Europe and the US, the building of new alternative leisure.

The first edition is to be held on Saturday 6th July in Collado Villalba, just 25 minutes from the city of Madrid, with 12 hours of uninterrupted music from 18.00hrs on Saturday until 06.00hrs the following morning on Sunday 7th July. Steve Angello, Carl Craig, Maceo Plex, Miss Kittin (live), Popof, Allan Ramirez and Marcos In Dub are the first names confirmed for this first edition. ¡A program with the best of electronic music in a unique space!

Tickets are already on sale through www.lasierraelectronica.com, www.doctormusic.com andwww.ticketmaster.es, also at Fnac, Carrefour, by phone at 902 15 00 25 and through the usual sale outlets from Ticketmaster network. After sold out the first 1,000 tickets at 25 Euros, ticket price is 30 Euros (booking fees not included).

Steve Angello:
A Greek-Swedish, who is now a member of the famous trio Swedish House Mafia , claim to fame came when he released a remix of Eurythmics 'Sweet Dreams' in late 2004. Though the days of finding Steve Angello in an intimate venue may be limited the memory of his early movements, but having cut his teeth at the globes finest nightspots amid a time of genuine Electronic elevation, Steve’s own live presence has become an increasingly agile display of showmanship and turntable dexterity. Taking the reigns at infamous stages across the globe and boasting annual residencies for the White Isle’s most prestigious night spots, not even Madison Square Garden has proven too daunting a task for his uninhibited live persona. Under a host of monikers and set across more than a decade of persistent musical innovation, Steve can still be found relishing in his inexplicable ability to make music that moves the masses. 

Carl Craig:
Carl Craig is described as a creative visionary, a groundbreaking electronic music icon, an inspirational artist, an esteemed Grammy-nominated composer, a worldclass DJ and an ambassador for his native Detroit. Yet the common thread that runs through Craig’s broad musical canon and creative projects is a resounding fascination with futurism. Craig released his first track in 1989 and in 1991, wanting pure artistic freedom, Craig set up his own label Planet-E. He has released a diverse range of experimental and groundbreaking music under a plethora of aliases including 69, BFC, C2, Innerzone Orchestra, No Boundaries and many more, and has worked with some of the most desirable names in music such as LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip, Junior Boys, Goldfrapp, etc. In 2012 Craig was voted in the top DJs that rule the Earth in Rolling Stone and in 2013 will be one of the most expected artists of La Sierra Electrónica first edition.

Maceo Plex:
Maceo Plex is on a quest to fulfill his need to inject feeling and funk into the world, and he's already proving to be quite productive with his deep and funky works of audible engineering. The beginning of his creativity arrive in 1993, when Maceo was intrigued by a pair of circular shaped objects designed for holding vinyl discs and was seduced by the sounds of techno & electro. After many years of prolific works on such labels as Treibstoff, Dumb Unit, Cocoon, Audiomatique, Modern Love, Mothership, to name a few...Maceo aka Maetrik travelled the world playing in some of the best clubs such as Rex, Cocoon, Fabric, Womb, etc... In July will be the turn of La Sierra Electronica inhabitants. A night with Maceo Plex will be one of galactic proportions. You are advised!

Miss Kittin:
The iconoclastic singer, songrwriter, producer and DJ has worn many looks since she first hit the scene in 1998 with career-defining hits 'Frank Sinatra' and 'Silver Screen (Shower Scene)'. With over 15 years of experience at the forefront of dance music, from the white hot flash of electroclash ot the mighty institutions of European techno, one might think we have seen all Miss Kittin has to offer. But 'Calling From The Stars', her third solo album and the first one written and produced almost entirely by Kittin herself, demonstrates she still has some new tricks. Caroline Hervé will offers us the best of this decade and a half dance hits as well as the new treasures of her new LP, at the Madrid's Sierra.

Popof:
A former member of the free-party underground collective 'Heretik System', Popof has now participated as a solo artist in countless events throughout France, other European countries, North America, Latin America, the Middle-East, Asia and Australia. His cutting edge tracks are made within the best traditions of techno mixed with a sip of tech-house. Popof is featured on various labels such as Coccoon, A.F.U, Turbo, Mistakes, and is often playlisted by top artists Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Sven Vath, John Digweed, Tiga, Sasha Etc. His work has achieved superstar status at such a level that practically each release gets at least into the Top 5 download lists, if not first place every time.

Allan Ramirez:
Having a look at the Allan Ramirez’s career, we see a young and entrepreneur DJ with more than 10 years of experience on the decks. During his sessions Allan rocks the house throughout his sets’ quality mixes, sophisticated and elegant tracks. Besides producing songs for international labels such as the famous Juicy Music (USA), he has released hits like “Don’t Back”, “Once Again”, “Junior” and “SKY”, a masterpiece which reached #1 in Spain’s biggest radio stations. Among his recent feats include remixes for artists as Juan Magan, Oscar L, Taito Tikaro, etc., and be during the summer of 2012 Space Ibiza’s resident DJ every Friday at Beat & Raw parties. This year will be one of the names that you should not miss in La Sierra.

Marcos In Dub:
Born in Madrid, Marcos In Dub has become one of the most exciting DJ's of national electronic scene. Started in the late 90's with the Hip Hop and Breaks as the main influence, he immediately sparked to more smoky lands, taking the dub as the main axis. Later, house and techno came into his life to never go out, and is now the key to his style. Besides spending by top clubs and national events, Marcos In Dub has already carved a niche in the international scene with performances at clubs like Watergate Berlin, Arena club Berlín or club 1001 in London. As a producer, stands his work for the label Monofunk with references such as 'Kaos' which received the best feedbacks from dj's as Laurent Garient, Karotte or Damian Lazarus.

On Saturday July 13 Need2Soul presents one of the longest-running legends of house, as Lil Louis heads a lineup that also includes two of the the most sought-after selectors circulating the scene, Floating Points and Moxie. With yet more still to be announced, this is looking to be one of the most refreshing lineups from Need2Soul yet.

Lil Louis has long been a favourite of Need2Soul with his soul, disco and Chicago house, and now he is welcomed to headline Need2Soul on July 13. Lil Louis has a rich history in the US house music scene and is famed for his classic productions including, 'French Kiss' and 'Club Lonely'. From the mid-’70s his outstanding ability behind the decks and mixing sensibility made him one of the most in-demand DJs in Chicago, Lil Louis brings a wealth of experience and talent to Need2Soul.

Making his Need2Soul debut, Floating Points joins the lineup following the recent release of his 11-minute track 'Wires' on ‘Eglo Records Vol.1’ – a collaborative project featuring 12 other mus

Moxie is known for her ability to seamlessly mix classic Detroit house and 4/4 deep grooves with bassier sounds. The DJ and broadcaster has quickly made a name for herself as part of Benji B’s Deviation family, hosting a fortnightly show on NTS radio, as well as appearances on Kiss FM and Rinse FM and becoming the first female DJ to play the legendary DMZ party. She is certainly one to watch and one not to miss on the July 13.

Electric Daisy Festival is by far one of the most iconic dance music festivals Stateside and will now bring their roadblock show to London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Saturday 20th July 201 amidst the surroundings of Englands bustling capital city.

This event is a culmination of all things epic. It’s a festival extravaganza so god damn glorious that it’s powers could alter the very fabric of time. It’s like Burning Man Festival just teleported from the Nevada desert. Sunday July 28 at Loft Studios, NW10: Having popped their west London cherry last year, secretsundaze decided to go back west-side to Loft Studios to take over the courtyard and ground-floor building adjoining the courtyard, with Detroit’s unique talent Marcellus Pittman, plus one of London and the world's finest talents, Wbeeza – live.

Marcellus Pittman – or 'Malik' as he is also known – is one of those very special artists alongside the likes of Moodymann, Theo Parrish, Rick Wilhite whose productions veer from techno to house to disco and always have that raw, dusty vibe. His solo productions are outstanding and you can hear the influence of jazz and funk as much as house and techno. Of course, alongside Moodymann, Parrish and Wilhite, Pittman forms 3 Chairs, who headline Dimensions Festival this year. 

Wbeeza has released a string of hits on the excellent Third Ear imprint including 'He's So Crazy' and 'A116'. His dynamic live sets involve the creation of loops on the fly, and some of his biggest hits never fail to bring the house down.

A music event without pretension, full of warmth and a strong sense of community, Stop Making Sense is all about the sunshine, the people, the music, the escape. The music runs from 12 noon until 1am at the main site with its private beach, water-side dancefloor, boat parties, wine and cocktail bars and food stalls. 

From 12am to 6am Stop Making Sense goes late-night at Barbarella’s, a truly stunning state-of-the-art beach-side open-air club. An essential part of the Stop Making Sense experience, it rivals anything Ibiza has to offer, with lineups coming from the SMS crews. Thursday belongs to Love Fever, Session Victim and San Soda. Friday brings FACT with Steve Bug, T.Williams and Braiden. Saturday is Orlando Boom’s chance to shine, with Lindstrøm and Kiwi. And on Sunday it goes off with Warm closing with Âme & Dixon.

Getting to this sunshine escape in Croatia is easier than ever with many low-cost airlines flying in to the nearby towns of  Zadar and Split from all over Europe (with a 50-minute transfer – SMS provides coach transfers priced at £15 to and from the airport).
