Next up at Ibiza Voice we delve into collaborative DJ sets for Off Week to list our choiciest back to back offerings. From main room techno to sun drenched jazzy house and everything in between.
Francesco Del Garda b2b DJ Masda - 15 June
Pairing two selectors that regularly get lauded as 'the DJs DJ' is a considered masterstroke. Italy's most recent favourite export Francesco Del Garda joins forces with one half of Cabaret Records and veteran Japanese selector DJ Masda. This will put a beaming smile on everyones face from the nerdy collectors at the very front to the pogoing troupe at the back of the dancefloor.
Steven Julien's most noted pseudonym Funkineven collides brilliantly here with respected jazz musician and Theo Parrish favourite, Byron The Aquarius. Soul-lifting house music will be on offer here, creating that image many of us conjure when reminiscing about Off Weeks gone by. Back to back aside, this is a stellar line up for the secretsundaze party.
There’s been somewhat of a love affair between these two esteemed DJs recently, with Richards selecting Lutz to play with him as part of his b2b invites series at Fabric. For this particular collaboration, things kick off at Ricardo Villalobos’ Frrc party. We can’t think of a better pairing for those weirder, more twisted dancefloor moments. Craig Richards will also be going back to back with Margaret Dygas later in the week for ToiToi.
Fans of big room, full throttle techno get their fix in the shape of Adam Beyer b2b Joseph Capriati for Drumcode. These two DJs know how to fill out a venue and keep the dancers happy with their relentlessly funky and dark techno leanings. Expect big energy and even bigger crowds when the Goliath pair collide.
