It's takes balls to say goodbye to Space, or so you'd imagine. But to leave one of the Worlds Best Clubs in favour to set up a series of daytime beach parties skating on the edge of the law, in the year when dancing in the daytime is the last thing that anyone can do in a club - well that takes some cojones as the Spanish say.

Label owner and long time DJ and promoter David Piccioni typically plays things down:
"We've done the big clubs and they are great, one day we may be back there doing big parties, but this year it felt right to embrace the changes and look at a different way of doing things, put a party on that people would talk about for weeks rather than a day. We have all the ingredients to make that happen."

A quiet midweek day after Space and DC10, a stunning beach location, Andy Cato on the decks in the sunshine, Crazy P's beautiful vocals taking them into sunset. Yep. That's the ingredients.

Beach Azuli will take place over the summer in a series of different locations, pulling in their long time associations with some of the biggest names in house music and retaining the friendly, laidback vibe of their hugely successful UK club nights. Only in the daytime.
