Circle of Love is all about cutting to the chase. The summer calendar is littered with festivals of all shapes, sizes and musical inclinations, where you can see post-rock, repackaged punk, experimental drum 'n' bass, baile funk and pretty much everything else.
But what if all you want is a handful of the world's most innovative DJs pounding futuristic underground electronica straight into your spinal column? 

Look no further than Circle Of Love, which takes over Dortmund's Vokspark Freibad on 20 July with a line-up that includes: Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Dubfire, Tiefschwarz, Monika Kruse, Onur Ozer and a carefully selected handful of fellow travellers. 

Organised with impeccable German efficiency (the FAQs kindly advises: "Dogs are not permitted on the festival territory. We recommend a dog sitter at home for this purpose," thus putting anxious pet-owners' minds at rest) Circle Of Love is a festival stripped back to its essence. Great music, flawless production and chilled surroundings. What's not to Love?
