Amongst the trash and glam and wannabes, there are some party makers that are just destined for notoriety. Step forward once again those Parisian purveyors of the purist underground delights, Freak n Chic, for an end of season bash on Wednesday 1st October at Pacha presented by yours truly, Ibiza Voice.

With impeccable timing, Freak n Chic step up from their part time Thursday night global room duties for F*** Me I'm Famous to host the main room in this essential midweek filler between Cocoon closing and the Amnesia/Space double header. 

Clearly, coolness begets coolness, if you'll forgive me for bastardising the Bible here for a minute. Pacha, the archetypal Ibiza cool, unites perfectly with Freak n'Chic, yet has a depth in quality and house music that few can hope to achieve. A perfect marriage with the Pacha concept. 

Therefore, moving away from the house sound that has monopolised Pacha's main room for the whole season, Dan Ghenacia leads a strong team of the finest calibre from the label to keep everyone, from the groove junkies to the minimal heads alike, with a smile on their face and feet firmly on the floor. 

Ghenacia, of course, is an established crowd puller in Ibiza, having exploded onto the scene at the peak of the Circo Loco/dc10 success story with a residency there and a string of gigs at We Love. 

Furthermore, now there is this opportunity to push the Pacha main room system to the limit and we're looking forward to seeing how the hallowed old venue copes with such a test.

Also appearing is one of the busier DJs with the label, Anthony Collins, who will definitely be providing the freak to Ghenacia's chic, whilst the match up between Dyed Soundroom's infectious, hypnotic beats and the rockin' sinister bleeps of Shonky leaves us spoilt for choice. 

Yet, the intrigue doesn't end there and I personally can't wait to see this artist. The one to keep an eye on is Seuil and a live performance of the most seductive, incessant electronic noises you'd ever wish to hear. With support from the likes of Loco Dice and Anja Schneider for current new releases, Seuil has prepared such productions specifically to be played out live, so anticipate a real show for this Pacha takeover.  

Fortunately for those of you banging your heads against the wall because your trip to the island is a week earlier, you will have the chance to see Seuil and the rest of the Freak n'Chic gang at the Wildlife On One event at the Old Zoo, Wednesday 24^th September. More info here. 

And finally at this point we'd just like to remind you, although it was so good you shouldn't remember a thing (!), of the legendary Ibiza Voice end of season session starring Ghenacia, not to mention Tania and Luciano, at Blue Marlin in 2006.
