Ibiza Voice takes a closer look at the festival circuit for July to find the top ten hot European show downs including the biggest desert rave in Spain, a ten day techno spectacle in Belgium and a magical fortress in Serbia. It's time to get in the festival spirit for these sun-drenched must do's.

	Melt! Festival - 17th - 19th July, Germany For anybody that hasn't heard of it Melt! is a unique music festival held on the Ferropolis peninsula. The festival has the stunning background of five huge hulking coal mining diggers that tower high into the sky. With a great location and killer line up, don't miss Sascha Funke, Trentemoller, Tobias Thomas, Ellen Allien and many more. More info here
	Dance Valley Festival - July 11th, Netherlands Dance Valley also known as "The Woodstock of Dance" is an annual dance music festival held in the summer in Spaarnwoude, the Netherlands. The Dutch festival fearures UK's Eddie Halliwell, Gareth Emery, the Bloody Beetroots from Italy. Not forgetting a wide array of home-grown talent from the Netherlands, such as Ferry Corsten, Marco V and Terry Toner Live. More info here
	Glade Festival - 16th - 19th July, UK This is a proper British music festival run by people who love life, music and freedom. Recognised as the leading electronic dance music festival in the UK, this year we witness lots of never seen before additions, including Juan Atkins making a UK exclusive appearance as well as Dave Clarke, Adam Beyer, Booka Shade, Jamie Jones and Matt Tolfrey. 	Global Gathering - 24th - 25th July, UK Held on the last weekend of July each year at Long Marston Airfield, Near Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England. This event attracts over a quarter of a million clubbers and dance music enthusiasts from all corners of the globe every year. The line-up for 2009 includes The Prodigy, Orbital,  David Guetta, Carl Cox, Tiga, Adam Beyer, Dubfire and Loco Dice to name but a few...... More info here
	The Garden Festival - July 3rd - 12th July, Croatia Set on a peninsula on the coast of Croatia, this has to be one of the most unique events on the European calendar. Set on an idyllic location there is a stellar line up to match including Gilles Peterson, Norman Jay, Greg Wilson, Todd Terje, Lindstrom, The Haggis Horns, Overproof Sound System and Stuart Patterson. Be sure to check out the festivals pre parties kick of this year with Secretsundaze in the club Wednesday the 1st July with Giles Smith and James Priestley being joined by Brothers' Vibe. 	Love Family Park - July 5th, Germany Once again, for one huge day out you can experience the cream of the scene on three massive stages from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. It's the Sven showdown packed with sunshine, music and love. Joining Papa Sven will be Ricardo Villalobos, Magda, Underworld Deichkind, Turntablerocker, Luciano, Karotte, Marco Carola, Extrawelt, Wighnomy Brothers and Henrik Schwarz. More info here
	Monegros - July 18th, Spain 40,000 people are expected to make their way upon the baron strip near Fraga to celebrate 15 years of one of the biggest parties in Spain. Orbital will once again pick up a Spanish festival headline slot and will be joined by Carl Cox, Vitalic, Dave Clarke, Richie Hawtin and Ricardo Villalobos. 	Tomorrowland - July 25th - July 26th, Belgium This is worth checking out simply to enjoy the reunion of luminaries Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson and Juan Atkins who will be heading up a Detroit delight with Rolando, Stacey Pullen and Kenny Larkin who are also sailing the high seas. Elsewhere, Joris Voorn, Pig & Dan and Radio Slave will be getting involved with the technospectacle as well as Sunday's session which sees Sasha & Digweed, Timo Maas and Josh Wink taking control of the decks. 	Exit festival - 9th - 12nd July,  Serbia Exit is the biggest music festival in South Eastern Europe and since 2001 it has enjoyed its spectacular home at a beautiful and magical fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia. This has one of the most impressive line ups to date with the likes of Steve Lawler Vs Lee Burridge, Reboot, Hawtin Vs Dubfire, Heidi Vs Justin Martin and Carl Cox Vs Green Velvet all making appearances. 	10 Days Off July 17th - 27th, Belgium Imagine for ten whole days the only rule is to speak the universal language of beat and groove with the knowledge that you won't be getting any sleep for just under two weeks. This is the most demanding of festivals in terms of duration but its worth every musical minute with Ghent being at the centre for adventurous and attractive modern club music. The 2009 version has something for everyone, be sure to check out Ben Klock, Nathan Fake, Carl Craig, Mark Farina, DJ Hell and Richie Hawtin. More info here
