Melt! Festival - 17th - 19th July, Germany For anybody that hasn't heard of it Melt! is a unique music festival held on the Ferropolis peninsula. The festival has the stunning background of five huge hulking coal mining diggers that tower high into the sky. Dance Valley Festival - July 11th, Netherlands Dance Valley also known as "The Woodstock of Dance" is an annual dance music festival held in the summer in Spaarnwoude, the Netherlands. The Dutch festival fearures UK's Eddie Halliwell, Gareth Emery, the Bloody Beetroots from Italy. Glade Festival - 16th - 19th July, UK This is a proper British music festival run by people who love life, music and freedom. Global Gathering - 24th - 25th July, UK Held on the last weekend of July each year at Long Marston Airfield, Near Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England. The Garden Festival - July 3rd - 12th July, Croatia Set on a peninsula on the coast of Croatia, this has to be one of the most unique events on the European calendar. Set on an idyllic location there is a stellar line up to match including Gilles Peterson, Norman Jay, Greg Wilson, Todd Terje, Lindstrom, The Haggis Horns, Overproof Sound System and Stuart Patterson. Love Family Park - July 5th, Germany Once again, for one huge day out you can experience the cream of the scene on three massive stages from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. It's the Sven showdown packed with sunshine, music and love. Monegros - July 18th, Spain 40,000 people are expected to make their way upon the baron strip near Fraga to celebrate 15 years of one of the biggest parties in Spain. Orbital will once again pick up a Spanish festival headline slot and will be joined by Carl Cox, Vitalic, Dave Clarke, Richie Hawtin and Ricardo Villalobos. Tomorrowland - July 25th - July 26th, Belgium This is worth checking out simply to enjoy the reunion of luminaries Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson and Juan Atkins who will be heading up a Detroit delight with Rolando, Stacey Pullen and Kenny Larkin who are also sailing the high seas. Elsewhere, Joris Voorn, Pig & Dan and Radio Slave will be getting involved with the technospectacle as well as Sunday's session which sees Sasha & Digweed, Timo Maas and Josh Wink taking control of the decks. Exit festival - 9th - 12nd July, Serbia Exit is the biggest music festival in South Eastern Europe and since 2001 it has enjoyed its spectacular home at a beautiful and magical fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia. This has one of the most impressive line ups to date with the likes of Steve Lawler Vs Lee Burridge, Reboot, Hawtin Vs Dubfire, Heidi Vs Justin Martin and Carl Cox Vs Green Velvet all making appearances. 10 Days Off July 17th - 27th, Belgium Imagine for ten whole days the only rule is to speak the universal language of beat and groove with the knowledge that you won't be getting any sleep for just under two weeks. This is the most demanding of festivals in terms of duration but its worth every musical minute with Ghent being at the centre for adventurous and attractive modern club music.
