Veryverywrongindeed... In the grooveIf you a Cockney clubber with any integrity, you'll have recognised Tim Sheridan's Veryverywrongindeed imprint by now. They predominantly release underground house and techno, though Sheridan is reluctant to let their music policy be pigeonholed, explaining that "no fish is too strange for our aquarium". While we get what you're saying, it's quite frankly an odd way of putting it Tim.

But then again, VVWI have never been ones to stray down conventional roads. Sheridan puts it like this "I called my previous label NASTYDIRTYSEXMUSIC simply to knock up an imaginary genre specifically to avoid being pigeonholed. It half worked only those that have tried to copy it have got it dead wrong. So it had to end." Well, that's sorted that then.

Having made their name through a series of infamous Ibizan beach parties, forest raves and illicit warehouse sessions, Sheridan's baby is finally coming to fruition, through a label residency at Fabric's sister club, matter which have already enticed many a techno fan to the London outskirts. Artists on the label are, as you'd expect a diverse bunch, featuring everyone from label owner Tim Sheridan to Spektre to Andre Crom and Belgian wonderkid Tom Dazing.

Remixes and artwork also form an essential part of the label, proving the labels creativity isn't confined to producing and championing their own artists or their own music. If it's different, chances are VVWI will like it. The labels been heralded as producing "really freaky shit" by IDJ magazine, while the warehouse parties they've hosted in the past where described by DJ Mag as "deliciously sideways." So it all really is very very wrong then? Indeed. But it's just as easily Veryveryright.
