90WATTS records proudly presents a compilation of 7 exclusive tracks to honor the inspiring city of Amsterdam and one of the world’s largest electronic music conferences and clubbing festivals: The Amsterdam Dance Event. With this ADE compilation 90WATTS brings the essence of their unique sound together in a box.
In the last decade of electronic dance music a huge number of styles and subgenres have passed the international scene. All those genres blended together or faded away. There were hypes, like “electro” and “minimal”, and now there is a more universal sound rising, somewhere in between house and techno. The British dj and producer Bushwacka used to describe this sound as “it’s what girls call techno and what boys call house”. The music industry, the international press, labels and artists refer to it as tech-house.

This year, 90WATTS is becoming more and more an important spider in the Amsterdam Tech-House web, with label artists like El Mundo & Satori, Angelo D'onorio, Marten Fisher, Franklin Reeves, Van Meeteren & Hyde, Philip Young and PrinsJan & Dennis Ruyer. Stay tuned of these upcoming artists as they are being caned by the public, during their weekly performances in almost every clubbing venue in Amsterdam. The latest releases of 90WATTS are being well supported by international artists like Richie Hawtin, Clickbox, Monika Kruse, Steve Lawler and many more. Be informed that there is seriously something going on in Amsterdam.

To celebrate the elevation of 90WATTS, they're set to present themselves at the ADE with this very special compilation release. The package opens with a new superb new production by Angelo D'onorio, followed by smashing club track by Marten Fisher and a strong solo track by Satori. After that, Jens de Langer will make his debut on 90WATTS and Andy Mowat does a remix of a never released Van Meeteren & Hyde track. To complete the box, the Italian connection of Amsterdam will be represented by Sheehan & Clausen.
