Receiving your advent calendars last week should have got jingle bells ringing that the Christmas party season is well on its way. Yes, it's that time again when London's line-ups get bigger and busier and it's not long until you're wondering how your purse is going to make it dent-free to the New year.

Fortunately, we can all relax this year thanks to freebie hotspot, T BAR who are back with their own Christmas offering, formerly known to clubbing kids as the '12 Days of TBAR.' Since their move to Houndsditch, T BAR has continued to show a commitment to giving the capital a home for "forward-thinking dance music" and from Wednesday 9th - 20th December, you can get a generous serving of unadulterated house, techno and dubstep, all for free.

On Wednesday 9th December, Wrong Meeting pulls out the first of the Christmas crackers with British techno gentleman, Andrew Weatherall and Parisian Ivan Smagghe. Over the years, the pair have been ripping up dancefloors worldwide and you can check their trademark electro/acid/ techno and bleep house sets here for some mid-week debauchery. On Friday night welcomes the uncompromisingly unique Danton Eeprom to celebrate his debut album release on fellow Frenchman Agoria's Infiné imprint. He'll be joined in the 4/4 sphere by rising Parisian protégé Clement Meyer. Rolling out the carpet for London's deep house and techno royalty on Saturday will be Phonica All Stars, Lauhaus, David Labeij (live) plus many more special guests as they celebrate Phonica's 6th Birthday between two energetic rooms. Squeezing in one final dose of electronic goodness on Sunday will be Shoplifter who is set to throw a Christmas cosmic party with Craig Richards and Jamie Jones plus a special unannounced guest.

Just as Monday wakes its ugly head, you can relax, take a deep breath and put your feet up as the guys at T B/R will be staging a film night before Tuesday fires off the beat-cannons once more with a Full House plus Gay Bingo- No Holes Barred XMAS Special.

On Wednesday, German label Kompakt step things up a gear with Jennifer Cardini. The techno empress has been celebrating ten years of label success recently and her sets tip-toe among the UK bass train of dubstep, minimal and Detroit techno as well as classic Chicago house. She'll be joined by Melon before Thursday sees the second installment of T Bar's new dubstep and bass night, TB/SS, welcoming very special guests MJ Cole and Blakey. Anyone who has visited Berlin's decadent palace of house and techno on a Sunday afternoon will know that Tama Sumo is the one to watch right now. Following the success of her recent Panorama Bar 02 mix, she'll be gracing T BAR's floor alongside Steffi on Friday. Konrad Black will be debuting at the new T/BAR with his own A Night With... revealing his signature mix of swelling bass and dark atmospheric hits.

The last of the freebie treats comes from 2020 Soundsystem and it's creator, Ralph Lawson; shortly followed by a mind-blowing Kubicle session with US friends and new residents, Wolf + Lamb. They'll be joined by Clive Henry before the dance marathon draws to a close.

For those unaware, this is to be the last of T B/R's free entry policy. From 2010 New Year, T B/R will begin to charge after 11pm on weekend nights Friday and Saturday. Thursdays and Sundays will continue to remain free but Friday and Saturdays will charge a nominal fee after 11pm. Valued followers should not sniff at the new changes however, as a result fans can expect bigger artist bookings, investment in better surroundings plus it's doors will be open for longer. Here's to T B/R 2010!
