The first 'Document' series arrives courtesy of three men who know each other very well. All born and raised in Detroit - Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson and Lee Curtiss have carved quite the reputation for themselves over the past few years through their work on the by now infamous Wolf + Lamb imprint.

The threesome have actually produced together before, as Visionquest, with their remix of Kiki's 'Good Voodoo' still one of the undoubted standout tracks from 2009.

Individually however, each solo effort on this package really shines. Three tech house tracks are delivered from three producers who can on occasion, be overly self indulgent in the studio. Fortunately, this is not the case here - this is tech house made for the dance floor.

The first track "Hurt" it's remixed by Martinez - the Swedish/Danish producer with the Spanish name. Martinez does a good job at squeezing even more life out of the track by adding a warbling baseline and eerie vocals/

On the B side, Crosson's 'Don't Look Further' is contemporary tech house with a nod to old school disco. Cosmic yet broody, it's the most energetic of the three tracks and also the packages undoubted highlight.

Lee Curtiss' 'Life Lessons' wraps up the EP. The track is a percussion heavy monster with a subtle, yet funky baseline and vocal snippets, drums and claps and kicks which interject at various points throughout. Released to coincide with the labels 10 year anniversary, the Document series is a testament to the impressive work of this label.
