This single comes from Jaxson, who has been producing his own stuff and remixes for a few years now. Remember his remix with David Keno of Mario Aureo's Talking Drums? That was pretty tasty.

So here we see him releasing single ‘Bel Vista' with two supporting remixes from favour-returning Mario and Nico Lahs.

As far as an objective review goes, as long as he has no intention of having his original track remain in the memory of any one post-dancefloor, Jaxson shouldn't be disheartened. The track has a repetitive female vocal, a repetitive bassline, an "old-school" snare and horn fill, with a couple of bleeps and clips around. It's exactly what your archetypal "I am going to go play this and people are going to like it" dance song of the early 21st century. But the real problem lies in that, listening to it, I truthfully don't care.

It bobbles along, and performs as it should, it all sounds in its right place. But that's it. And singles, contrary to their title, should have more than one original track on them if you want anyone to even bother with listening to the first one. This is just a bit of a nap unfortunately.

As for the remixes, Nico Lahs sounds like he knocked his up in an evening, nothing wrong with that I guess. The Aureo and Solar one, whilst having a disco tinge that makes my eyelids twitch ever so slightly from their place of eternal rest probably should have the above paragraph slapped on their desk too.
