While the country has always been a haven for electronic music enthusiasts, decent Spanish producers, have bizarrely, always seemed to be few and far between. Los Suruba however, are adding their name to a growing list of producers such as Uner and Coyu - proving there's more to Spanish nightlife than unbridled hedonism - there's talent there too. Residents themselves at Club 7 in Madrid, Los Suruba's last offering,the Palle EP, which was brilliantly reworked by UK duo Spektre, received them plaudits across the board.

Expect the 'Delta Force' EP, due for release soon on the duos Suruba imprint to be equally as successful. The tilte track is a moody tech house number which will work as the perfect anecdote to the beginning of a nights partying. Esteemed German producer Alex Kruger aka Tigerskin brings 'Delta Force' to deeper territories as he tends to do with the vast majority of his seemingly continuously impressive output . His take on the track is warm, blissful and littered with sci-fi sounds throughout - simple, yet refined and effective.

The flip side is much tougher in sound however - a fact which emphasizes Los Suruba's diversity and penchant for producing in different manners. 'Roller Kick' is a trippy track with a similar vocal arrangement to 'Delta Force'. Weird and wonderful with a heavily synthesized baseline, 'Roller Kick' is sure to cause dance floor mayhem wherever it is unleashed.

Dutch producer Onno provides the first of his two contributions with his remix of 'Roller Kick'. He adds drums, piano keys, bells and a scary, epic breakdown to the original, which grants it an added punch. The repetitive vocal does sound a tad repetitive after a while mind, so why the package also includes a 'long edit digital mix' from Onno is somewhat mind boggling. Not the most memorable of EP's - but an impressive one nonetheless and one that will make a worthy addition to any set.
