Following on from the excellent 'Invisible Romance' EP from label head Guy Gerber comes SFR018, the 'You've Got Me' EP on the ever impressive Supplement Facts imprint, a quality laced two track EP from two of electronic musics most promising stars. Ryan Crosson and Guti have individually been championed by a host of well known international acts. You'll recognize Crosson's name from his work with seminal Brooklyn label Wolf + Lamb, while Argentine Gutierrez Guti has recently made quite a name for himself on Loco Dice's Desolat family, where he's been busy supporting Dice on the lathers world tour.

Between them then, It comes as no surprise that the 'You've Got Me' EP is a most excellent collaboration, whereby both young producers do their respective careers no harm whatsoever. Introducing the package is title track 'You've Got Me', the duo's collaboration with vocalist Don Fuego. Fuego's vocals slide in perfectly between some swathes of base, slabs of percussion and a melodic baseline. Anthemic in nature with a big room appeal, expect 'You've Got Me' to blow up in popularity come the start of the summer season.

On the flip side, the tech house theme continues with 'Marimbaby' further evidence that the duo mean business. More serious in tone than its predecessor with a funky, latino groove and an abundance of tribal sounding flair courtesy of some well placed bongos, the track almost rivals 'You've Got Me' in terms of sheer brilliance. Hardly surprising either, considering its already been picked up by the likes of Mobilee mainstay Sebo K.

The 'You've Got Me' EP is a funky tech house work out which dance floor wise, ticks all the right boxes. Expect the 'You've Got Me' EP to be just as successful as previous Supplement Facts releases such as dOP's 'Genius of the Crowd' or Michel Cleis' 'East of Eden.' More excellent work from a label constantly moving in the right direction.
