Unleash your wild side at Electric Zoo FestivalIf you haven't been doing so all summer long, get ready to monkey around in the park as Electric Zoo returns to New York for its second year just in time for Labor Day. Main attractions including everyone from The Chemical Brothers to Richie Hawtin who raves about 2009's event, "Great organisation, amazing line up and I think we all had as much fun playing as everyone did dancing!" With Hawtin back once again, plus an almost never ending list of superstars playing across four stages, this September's two-day event promises to be wilder, crazier and a thoroughly roaring weekend out for all.

Zookeepers Mike Bindra and Laura De Palma (aka Made Event Promotions) are the duo that will be 'bringing together the highest caliber of artists from the many sub-cultures of electronic music,' and delivering them to the Big Apple's 26 sprawling acres that is Randall's Island Park. With plenty of lush greenery and stunning waterside views, the park makes the perfect summertime setting for New York's biggest electro festival.

It's a zoo with a twist too. You'll be able to marvel at rare breeds that represent the world's electronic music, stretching from mainstream to underground and back again. Along with big cats The Chemicals and Hawtin, Saturday's top acts include performances from stars Axwell and  Benny Benassi, plus ATB, Major Lazer, Pretty Lights and Kaskade. On Sunday, you'll encounter more species of the international DJ kind such as Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, John Digweed, Boys Noize, and Bassnectar, plus headliner Fedde Le Grand and a rare appearance from Moby mixing it up on the decks. And if that wasn't enough to entertain your wild side, the list of extraordinarily talent continues with everyone from Matthias Tanzmann and Paul Kalkbrenner, to Dirty South and Steve Bug plus many, many more sneaking in a spin or two down at the zoo.

Two-day ticket packages are on sale now (one-day's are for weaklings with a phenomenal line up like this), and VIP upgrades are naturally also available which give you access to the best viewpoints plus deluxe air-conditioned bathrooms. With over seventy artists on the bill, some making their only appearances for summer 2010, best be smart and book your trip to the hottest electro enclosures now. Then simply sit back, relax and get ready to unleash your inner party animal.
