Uner & Coyu have teamed up once again for the latest release on the Coyu-curated imprint, Suara. Entitled "Up & Run," the track sums the Spanish duo's partnership in perfect style. Combining Uner's sense of funk and Coyu's dance sensibility, the pair have created a truly peak time, tech house killer. With remixes from Dosem and Ramon Tapia, the release is yet another statement of intent from Suara who continue to impress with their dedication to fresh and upfront music.

Flying straight out of the traps, "Up & Run" gets a kick start with plenty of percussive layers and some punchy, rolling beats. A simple bassline gets the track moving by keeping the energy, force and moment up whilst that all important funk comes from some tasty and seductive percussion. With spliced vocal cuts and echoed FX, the track is given a summery but exotic feel, verging on tribal house but never too powerful to be labelled as such. Clocking in at just under eight minutes, "Up & Run" has some luscious deeper moments but it is in the energy fuelled drive that it really manages to express itself properly.

Up for the first remix is Belgian Ramon Tapia. Having built a reputation as one of dance music's most exciting producers over the last three years, Tapia has released on revered labels such as Great Stuff, Strictly Rhythm, Yellow Tail and Analytic Trail. Appearing for the first time on Suara, Tapia delivers a remix that captures the energy and danceability of the original but adds his own unique interpretation to the track. He strips "Up & Run" down, taking things slightly deeper and putting the bass squarely in the driving seat, opting to let the percussion play a lesser role. Playful synth stabs add even more energy making this the perfect number for late night Ibizian dancefloors this summer.

Catalan producer Dosem is up next to rework "Up & Run." No stranger to the art of remixing, he has previously worked new versions of tracks from the likes of Danny Howells, Luke Fair, Renato Cohen and Henry Saiz, Dosem turns in yet another accomplished remix with his take on "Up & Run." With a strong and powerful 4/4 kick, this remix has a certain drive and purposefulness that is lacking in the previous two versions. Piano chords give it a classic house sheen but clean beats and a funky bassline push it up to a contemporary amalgamation of house and techno. Despite all its power and drive, Dosem has somehow managed to keep the summery vibe locked in and even manages to keep it fun and playful.

Once more proving that they are determined to play alongside the big boys, Suara unleashes a package more than worthy of their intent. With their rich vein of form set to continue, party goers around the world can only wait with abated breath to see what they get up to next.
