MINUS and Cocoon are two of the most undeniable facts during the Amsterdam Dance Event these days. The Evotions-weekender which combines MINUS and Cocoon in one weekend. Three years ago Richie Hawtin's legendary Contakt show was the kick off of something that was to become a very successful weekend full of heavy techno violence.

Next to that, Richie Hawtin and Sven Vath have been inextricably bound to the Amsterdam Dance Event. What is it that makes it so special? Sven and Richie are always one step ahead of the rest of the world. It's that bit of extra love and dedication you find in their sets, their show, their everything that makes it so unique. The ADE is the place to be to show Amsterdam and the rest of the world what made these events so immensely popular amongst its audience, and in the meanwhile thank that audience for its loyalty. This year, once again, something big is about to happen in The Powerzone. Be there or be square, Friday the 22nd and Saturday the 23rd of October.

MINUS - Friday the 22nd of October
Last night's MINUS night was one to be remembered for many, many years. Richie was not to be pulled away from the decks and gave an appendage for an hour after closing time. Richie and the wild public were on fire! This makes people draw some expectations for the next edition, and those expectations are about to be surpassed.The MINUS family won't settle for less this year and Richie will arrive with a beautiful and carefully selected delegation at the ADE. Cocoon - Saturday the 23rd of October
It goes without saying that Cocoon is a party which is to be celebrated hard and wild, but this edition of Cocoon is very special to Sven Väth. Cocoon goes Amsterdam celebrates its fifth anniversary, which should be emphasized with some additional features to the party this year. Our German friends understood exactly what we were talking about. This years Cocoon Ibiza season, is celebrated with the theme of ‘Party Animals', is traditionally closing at the ADE. Under the inspiring leadership of our most important party guest, Der Meister himself, Extrawelt, Cassy, Chris Tietjen will arrive. And as if this were not enough, somebody who has already made one of 2010's best albums, Guillaume & the Coutu Dumonts will make an appearance behindthe decks of Cocoon goes Amsterdam.

The entertainment in the second area is in the hands of the Amsterdam based agency We Are E. With performances by Darko Esser, Rauwkost LIVE, Joey Daniel, Loops LIVE, Olivier Weiter and Johanna Mercker, We Are E will show what they're made of.
