Held last year as both the We Love... and Space Closing Party, what was once a day long blow out is now most definitely a two day affair. Kicking off on Saturday 2nd October, Space's annual closing bash again features a plethora of artists from both the commercial and underground spectrum.

Headlined by chart topping Brit Mr. Calvin Harris, other acts pencilled in for the day and night celebrations include Tocadisco, Tom Novy, Wally Lopez and Mark Knight. With 6 rooms open simultaneously, as well as a host of live performances and Space's trademark exuberant production, the "not quite" closing party, as we're naming the Saturday shindig, should doubtless make for an unpretentious, fun filled introduction to a weekend of shenanigans and high jinx aplenty.

It's the Sunday  however, which really has us excited. Yes, Space may have adopted the 'let's satisfy every musical taste to ensure we pack the club on both days' approach, yet nonetheless, the more techno oriented of the two parties still looks particularly promising.

Kehakuma, We Love... and indeed DC10 are all represented, with Josh Wink, Steve Lawler, Adam Beyer and Jamie Jones just some of the more underground acts sure to sign off the 2010 season in esteemed fashion.

Featuring seven rooms as well the infamous Flight Club arena, (which we're being told will host a setup of the type never seen before at Space), the "End of the Invasion" should make for a fitting climax to another successful summer at the iconic Playa den Bossa nightspot.
