Anton Pieete - Galician EP on rejected

Dutch mainstay Anton Pieete is back on fine form with Galican, seeing him further move from his atypical techno sound to more experimental, warmer slices of machine funk. Purely constructed from drum machines and analogue synths, Anton's sound is roudned and matured, signalling a new direction from Amsterdam's underground techno hero.

Joris Voorn's rejected label provides the home for Galican, fusing era's past with trends present into an uncategorizable set of bubblers. Galican's techno bumping rhythm, skewed and stretched organ chords and stretched and grooving, dipping bassline creates a knowing deep house groove.

Jupiter Blue - already making the rounds in sets and mixes - mixes '90s-esque melodic progression, elasticated basslines and a forthright, compression loaded beat. Anton's fine run of form looks set to continue well into 2015 - where he will look to next?
