Marcel Lune - Desert Gully Revisited EP on Studio Rockers

Tony Thorpe’s Studio Rockers have notched up several significant releases in 2015 from the likes of and EVM128, Redpine & Solo and Marcel Lune. Ever the diverse label that vacillates between techno to nu-disco is picking up support from Shadow Child, Moxie, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Huxley, Laurent Garnier and Fish Go Deep.

This remix package from Marcel Lunes’s debut LP ‘The Desert Gully’ sees reworks from PNFA, Hi-Ryze, Bunny On Acid and a new exclusive tracks from Marcel himself.

The mixes showcase the Studio Rockers diversity with PNFA’s crunchy glitchy house rework of Gully State to Marcel’s Temples - a kind of nu-jazz house jam to Hi Ryze’s industrial tinged take on Nookula.

The Bunny On Acid Mix of ‘Voyager’ stands out with broken rhythms, dubby synth lines and ethereal pads.
