Birmingham’s celebrated The Rainbow Venues is delighted to announce its bold, brave and brilliant plans for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day 2017. Always a much anticipated night in the party calendar, this year the sprawling, multi-purpose events space has pulled out all the stops to put on what will be two hugely memorable shows. The events cover the very best in house, techno, garage and bass with real stars of the dance world from Ben Klock to Kasra, My Nu Leng to Alan Fitzpatrick, Kurupt FM to Hot Since 82.

Starting on Saturday December 31st at 8pm, the many different spaces of The Rainbow Venues will come alive with 5000 party-hungry music lovers. There will be five stages of music, mesmerising production and some of the biggest DJs, brands and live acts from around the world. Part two takes places on Sunday January 1st, New Year’s Day, at 4pm, when three more spaces will be transformed and more world class DJs will roll into Birmingham.

In charge of New Year’s Eve celebrations will be local promoters 02:31 in The Arena, with My Nu Leng b2b Rinse FM hero Oneman, plus Redlight, Monki and resident Tom Shorterz. Seedy Sonics take charge in The Warehouse with legendary garage crew Kurupt FM, Logan Sama, Wookie, LFM & Mali and more.

The more intimate Blackbox space is where to catch essential d&b label Critical Sound and chief charges Emperor, Current Value, Kasra and Hyroglifics, with Mantmast, Visionobi and Busta hosting throughout the night. The Roof Terrace and The Garden will also feature more action, with acts still yet to be announced.

New Year’s Day sees the return of many The Rainbow Venues favourites. The Warehouse is where contemporary house and tech stars, including Knee Deep In Sound boss Hot Since 82, Hot Creations man Patrick Topping, Phonox resident Jasper James, Paradox City, Roth$tein and Ryan Nichols all join the fun. For more personal experiences, The Blackbox brings techno heavyweights in the form of Berghain resident Ben Klock, Drumcode associate Alan Fitzpatrick, Dense & Pika, Pippi Ciez and Teknøtis, with The Roof Terrace welcoming local hero Bunny, Lewis Oxley, Ernest and Yousuf.

There are few more all encompassing places to party at the end of 2016 and start of 2017 than here.
