Another year has passed and once again, it's time for the world to descend upon Miami, Florida, for the Miami Music Week. Made of up industry heads in town for conferences and speeches, North Americans having the time of their lives on Spring Break adventures and European electronic music fans gathering for a week of sun, sea and some of dance music's biggest names hosting parties across both downtown and South Beach. There is truly something for everyone, from warehouse parties to sun kissed beach bashes, dance musics many sides are represented annually at the MMW festivities.  

But where to visit? Ibiza Voice has taken on the hard work for you, rounding up 10 of the best parties to visit when in town... 


Paco Osuna presents: Mindshake at Trade 
Tuesday 21 March

Paco made his name through Richie Hawtin's M_nus label, but 2017 has seen him undertake his own label night concept, Mindshake. For his Miami offering, Paco is joined by heavyweight techno heads Victor Calderone, Nick Curly and Lorenzo Bartoletti. A serious heads down event for those arriving in town nice and early.


Mastermix Miami Boat Party with Jackmaster, Skream and Jasper James 
Wednesday 22 March

Attention landlubbers: It's going to get pretty choppy in the high waters as Mastermix invite Jackmaster, Skream and Jaspar James to cause havoc on the waters. Party music non stop, with a decidedly hedonistic edge. What better way to let go and enjoy the afternoon sunshine than being trapped on a boat with a hard-partying crew?


DJ Harvey and Seth Troxler at Basement  
Wednesday 22 March 

Basement have invited some seriously cool heads from the underground to help helm their sweatbox across Miami Music Week. While all the events are looking to be top notch, Wednesday sees two of dance music's most celebrated - and extrovert - DJs, Seth Troxler and DJ Harvey, take the reigns for a whole night. Expert weird techno, fragrant disco and jamming house at this undoubtedly fun event.


DJ Sneak and Doc Martin @ Coyo Taco 
Thursday 23 March

The 'House Gangster' joins forces with one of North America's best loved, most trusted DJs, Doc Martin, so expect solid gold grooves and plenty of surprises in the bag as Sneak and Martin square up on the decks. Also joining them on the night will be gangster protege Jesse Perez and Demuir.


Rapture Electronic Music Festival at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park 
Thursday 23 March

Miami gets pretty hectic so why not try the rather rejuvenating and tranquil settings of the beaches at Historic Virginia Key, where the very first Rapture Festival is taking place. This festival is looking a serious addition to the MMW calendar.

An all-day, all-night, 26 hour marathon festival, the key players from across the electronic underground are appearing, including Carl Craig, Art Department, Matthew Dear, M.A.N.D.Y, Henry Saiz and many more across an expansive line up. It's only minutes away from South Beach and Downtown – perfect for those looking for a hassle free, quick excursion from the main crowded areas.


Claude VonStroke presents The Birdhouse at Delano Beach Club
Saturday 25 March

San Fran's purveyor of booty-shaking, bass-heavy house music is back in Miami this year with his fellow label mates and special guests for Birdhouse for a new party concept at the Delano Beach Club. Dirtybird signee J Phlip plays with special guests Joris Voorn, Skream, Kim Ann Foxman, Honey Dijon, Jesse Rose and Walker & Royce. Get yourself into a flap over this delicious looking party. 


Crosstown Rebels present Get Lost Miami: 12th Edition 
Saturday 25 March  

For eleven years running, Damian Lazarus' Crosstown Rebels imprint has held its place as a key bastion and reference point for the more underground side of Miami Music Week / WMC.

This year, per usual, the location is being kept under wraps, but the party has become known for its magical locations and attention to detail., whether under foliage, in a sun drenched courtyard or in the depths of a cavernous 3am haunt.  Furthermore the majority of the Crosstown Rebels family will be there, including Audiofly, Francesca Lombardo, Deniz Curtel, Fur Coat and Damian himself, alongside the likes of DJ Sneak, Soul Clap, Thugfucker, Ellen Alien and French Bass Culture hero D'Julz. 


Resistance closing party at Club E11even 
Sunday 26 March 

It's been a while since Sasha and John Digweed united and Ultra Music have signed the pair together to helm Resistance, a new concept club night that will be touring the world. The Miami Music Week closing party, taking place on Sunday 26 at Club E11even looks nothing short of tremendous, with Jackmaster B2b Eats Everything B2b Nic Fanciulli, Lee Foss B2b Skream B2b Waff and many more joining Sasha and Digweed, who, of course, play B2b on the night.


Story Presents: Luciano 
Sunday March 26 @ Story

For those looking for a little more smart swagger and glamour to their club night, the original Vagabundo Luciano will be heading up his own solo show on Sunday March 26 at the high brow Story nightclub. Expect discerning beats and and a flashy interior at this strict dress code event. Luciano will take the crowds on a journey until 5am, no doubt with a few surprise kinks and twists along the way.


Desolat and Ovum Showcase at Heart Nightclub
Sunday 26 March

Two of modern dance music's most revered crews are on hand for a label double-header on Sunday night. Josh Wink's Ovum imprint touches down with Wink himself, MANIK and Bpitch boss Ellen Allien in the basement, while the terrace sees Guti perform live alongside WaFF, Tiga and special guest Kenny Dope.
