A group of Detroit titans have assembled together to create a huge house release on Seth Troxler’s Play It Say It Records. Featuring Andy Toth & Billy Love’s sensual and playful “Thrillseekers”, it’s filled with dynamic remixes from Chuck Daniels, Andrés, Midnite Jackers, Oliver Dollar & Matthew K, DJ Godfather and Michigan Left.

Billy Love recalls a time when he was a male dancer at the iconic strip club, Watts Club Mozambique and “Thrillseekers” soul infused vocals, are a perfect fit to tell it’s story. The track’s thumpy kicks and bass heavy stabs are neatly blended together, making “Thrillseekers” fit for a club floor filler.

A simplistic and catchy melody dominates Chuck Daniel’s remix. The dissonance in its synths is one that draws you in for another listen.

The second vibrant remix is from Andres, one of the key artists on Moodymann’s Mahogani label. The remix is decorated with graceful jazz chords that are equally matched with upbeat drum patterns, making the track essential to play for a late night drive.

Already demolishing worldwide dance floors is Midnite Jacker’s rework on “Thrillseekers”. The distorted vocals overlapping bongo drums adds a tinge of darkness to the tracks funky house vibe.

Quirky bleeps and snippets of a saxophone solo are wrapped around the deep sub bass in Oliver Dollar and Matthew K’s take on the track.

DJ Godfathers remix is a minimalistic affair that still packs attitude, where sci –fi centric FX meet with techno high hats. It’s a track that won’t fail to keep your head bobbing.

In the last of the remixes, the worlds of electro and funk meet, where reverb heavy claps, a warped bassline and funky vocals collide. This Detroit release really is one that is needed for your summer playlist.
