Pangaea is responsible for two of the Summer's biggest edit tracks.
'Two Mixes' was released on his label Hadal earlier in the summer and has been blowing up sets around the world in the hands of the Hessle Audio crew and other leading techno lights. The A side features an edit of Nomad 1990s rave hit 'Devotion,' while the B side 'Stand Up' is an edit of Lolleatta Holloway's much sampled 1976 soul hit 'Dreamin.'
The release instantly sold out but Pangaea announced via his Facebook page that the Holloway sampling 'Stand Up' will be re-released on Salsoul. The historic label responsible for releasing the original as well as countless other soul and disco classics isn't the first place you'd check for a bass/techno monster track.
But it has agreed to add the track to its lengthy discography with an October release. Great news for all those who missed out on the track before it sold out. Let's hope the same happens for Pangaea's killer Nomad edit.
