As far as starting things off with a bang go, Richie Hawtin officially opening ADE is a bold signal of things to come. Loveland team up with the Enter boss for a ‘#POPUP’, kicking things off for ADE tonight, between 6pm and 8pm, at the public area Nieumarkt. The market is right in the middle of Amsterdam Centrum, so expect a large turn-out of keen ravers looking to get things started nice and early.
No sign up for guestlist needed, no excuse not to go. Although if you do miss out, Richie will also be engaging in a number of talks throughout ADE week.

This certainly piqued our interest. For ravers with a soft spot for the sounds surfacing from Japan, notably the Fumiya Tanaka’s and Soichi Terada’s of the world, this intimate 250 capacity party may indeed showcase the next Japanese DJ to take the west by storm.
KODO, which is brought to Amsterdam by Tokyo Dance Event, will aim to show off the cultural and creative flairs of their three DJs; Nobu (who has already conquered Boiler Room and Dekmantel), So and Satoshi Otsuki. Catch the trio spinning plates at Melkweg on Friday night, all night long. Sign up for guest list here.

Bicycle Passage regulars Audio Obscura team up with the Rijksmuseum to bring the second of two shows in the historic archways. American DJ Maceo Plex will be assuming control with his melancholic and moody house between 7-11pm at the 2,000 capacity venue. Good things travel fast about the events that go on here; possibly because of the contrast in the cultures of dance music and historical artefacts. Whatever the reason, the artist and the venue are both 10/10 for this free party.
Registration closes for this tonight! You can sign up between 2-4 people here.
