Few cities give New Year's Eve and Day as good a go as the Dutch capital. The city is still buzzing after another monumental ADE in October and throws down another impressive gauntlet of raves for every taste.
New Years’ celebrations aside, this is an unmissable opportunity to witness two veteran techno selectors go head to head. The Baron of Techno, Dave Clarke goes head to head with Shelter’s own resident and Detroit legend, DJ Bone for what we are tipping to be a masterclass in techno and electro. Both DJs are renowned for their creativity and mixing tricks so you can expect to find a ring of turntable geeks obsessing over their every move and of course a serious party in action courtesy of one of the city's best underground clubs.

The 19th century gas works venue has taken on the role of techno's very own Coloseum in recent years as various big players of the scene turn out their A Game sets on one of the best club stages in the world for sound and production.
Makam, Maceo Plex and Pan Pot have been invited for New Year's Eve as well as Belgiums' exciting new artist, Amelie Lens, who has the privilege of closing the proceedings. After witnessing the fireworks during ADE, we can only imagine the showdown for New Years Eve.

De School gather a crew of formidable artists for another marathon party for New Year's Day. After their 72 hour session over ADE, the club have invited their nearest and dearest back to kick start 2018. Although many of these artists epitomise the term ‘underground’ and you may not be all too familiar with them, you can rest assured the quality control will be set to exceptional. Berghain resident Marcel Dettmann adds a touch of tough to the bill. 17 hours in one of the best clubs in the city? In.

Breakfast Club are flag flyers for those special after hours sessions with the right heads on the dance floor and the right DJs at the controls. Another staple part of the Amsterdam diet, they team up with local gay night ‘Is Burning’ to takeover Warehouse Elementenstraat for one of their famed early starts. Although this space isn't as intimate as previous choices like BRET, the line up is still TBA, so expect to hear some quality floor fillers at the controls.

Anyone who was at BRET for hot house steppers, SlapFunk and their finale at ADE this year will be all over this 12 hour party. The Utrecht label crew threw a lengthy session two days after ADE had technically finished, and kept their line ups under wraps until last minute. Similarly, little information has been released about this party but keep your eye out for appearances from label regulars Julian Alexander, Anil Aras and Samuel Deep. BRET is widely regarded as the best after party space in the city; made out of large metal containers and harbouring a shack like interior. This party will be going the distance so make sure you’re there.
