Chicago born and raised Honey Dijon is a throw back to the old school. She’s a passionate DJ who drops real knowledge, plenty of big vocals and always works the crowd into a real lather. Having come up on the original house scene of the Windy City and later New York, she mixes jacking grooves with well swung drums and serves up sizzling vibes that leave everyone in a sweat.

WHP are back with one of their choice off-season events, this time at Gorilla in Manchester. Meat Free Presents Steffi at Soup Kitchen, Manchester
The Meat Free crew of aalice, Blasha & Allatt and Lucy Ironmonger welcome back esteemed Klakson label boss Steffi for a night of suburb electro, house and techno with plenty of Detroit flavours. The Ostgut Ton associate and Panorama Bar resident has really found her own unique take on the genres in recent times, with melody being as important as groove, so the intimate Soup Kitchen is a perfect place to experience it.
Halcyon presents Charlotte de Witte at Constellations, Liverpool
Charlotte de Witte continues to established herself as a contemporary techno tastemaker. She has a dark, dense and driving sound that is proudly unrelenting and comes on labels like Suara, Turbo and Mary Go Wild Black. She never fails to make an impact with her heavy, hypnotic techno and tonight plays three hours so will no doubt show off some extra nuance along the way.She also turned in a fantastic Ibiza Voice podcast last year..
Ctrl Sound x Ilian Tape with Zenker Brothers & Skee Mask at Wire Leeds
Munich label Ilian Tape has put out some of the freshest techno of recent years. Dark, muggy atmospheres built on busted breakbeats and with shadowy synths has been the order of the day from label bosses The Zenker Brothers and the cult Skee Mask. This weekend they all land in Leeds for a special label showcase at returning night Ctrl Sound.
